A new classification of the nasolabial fold for use during facial reanimation surgery.

In this paper a classification based on the analysis of 110 patients was derived which demonstrated the variability of shapes seen in normal subjects. Paying attention to the fold architecture allows tailoring of the final result to the patient’s pre- palsy status.
