Your safety is paramount. Charles Nduka will explore options to reduce risk or anxiety, such as surgery under local anaesthesia, or the use of minimally invasive techniques.<\/p>\n
Charles Nduka will not perform surgery on patients who desire results that he feels will look unnatural. Surgery should enhance what you have and create a natural age-appropriate final result.<\/p>\n
Complete professional discretion and privacy are an utmost priority. For your peace of mind, all consultations take place in private hospital out-patient clinics away from the town\/city centre.<\/p>\n
Health and beauty should be looked at together. In many cases, surgery is only part of the overall treatment. Important factors in your overall wellbeing include your nutrition and lifestyle, as well as your psychological attitude which is holistic care. At your consultation, Mr Nduka will advise on whether other non-surgical treatments are suitable to improve the overall result of surgery. Over the last few years, a number of minimally invasive techniques have been demonstrated to achieve the same results as older techniques, but without extensive scars or general anaesthesia. Charles Nduka’s fellowship in Brazil gave him invaluable experience of modern techniques in aesthetic surgery.<\/p>\n
Several smaller procedures can be combined to create a better, more harmonious result. One part of the face rarely ages in isolation, and the target for surgery may not always be obvious.<\/p>\n
For example, patients complaining about heavy upper eyelids may opt for upper eyelid tuck to look more refreshed. Following surgery, it may then become apparent that the real problem was drooping of the forehead and brows which had increased the upper eyelid skin excess. In this case, a rejuvenation lacking in harmony could have been avoided by performing an endoscopic brow lift instead. Not only would the upper eyelid excess been addressed, there is the added benefit of reducing frown lines, smoothing the forehead, and making the eyes look more youthful.<\/p>\n
An isolated rejuvenation (for example the eyelids) may highlight a lack of harmony in the lower face. A proper evaluation by a surgeon able to address all of these issues is important.
