Charles Nduka only uses temporary fillers made of substances found naturally in our\u00a0skins- principally Hyaluronic Acid. This substance holds water within the skin and is synthesised in\u00a0a laboratory to ensure reliable results. Different types are available,supplied in pre-filled syringes,\u00a0(e.g. Juvaderm, Juvaderm Ultra, Volbella, Volift, Restylane).<\/p>\n<p>Fillers add volume to your skin without affecting your natural expression. It is non-permanent and is absorbed naturally over time &#8211; it&#8217;s your choice when to have further treatment to maintain the effect. Combination of fillers with muscle-relaxing injections can further enhance the final result<\/p>\n<p>In addition to being a method to reduce wrinkles, Charles Nduka uses hyaluronic acid fillers to\u00a0smooth and soften out wrinkles, crows feet, laughter lines, some types of sunken scars, cheeks\u00a0and lips.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Nduka favours using temporary fillers as he feels that permanent fillers can leave the face\u00a0looking unnatural in the future \u2013 lips of a 30 year-old will not be appropriate at 60. The injections are made using a pre-filled syringe equipped with a very fine needle. A local anaesthetic may also be used to eliminate discomfort around sensitive areas. \u00a0 The clear hyaluronic acid gel is deposited in specific layers of the skin (the dermis) to create fullness and to replace what age and the environment have taken away.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How long does the treatment last for?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This depends upon the degree of correction required, local muscle activity, your age and lifestyle as well as on the injection technique . Clinical trials indicate that Juvederm\u00a0<strong>Ultra \u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Restylane \u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0are effective for four to six months. The fact that the effect is not permanent is a great advantage.
